Merry Christmas To You

Mistletoe
Great.....fake plastic mistletoe
Wrap me in a great big bow
And tear me apart
It's Christmastime
So open up the flood gates
Tell me that you'll be late
And rip me apart
Cause you say that,
You say that things will be alright
But I've heard that,
I've heard that so many times
And I know that.....
It's not Christmas if the snow don't fall
And I'm still standin' here three feet small
Lose our troubles because after all
It's Christmastime
It's Christmastime
Cold.....ice'n' on the walkways
Slippin' to the games we play
We're fallin' apart
A great big house
That's made out of gingerbread
Crumbles to the ground
We're breakin' apart
But you said that,
Said that things will be alright
But I've heard that,
Heard that so many times
And I know that.....
It's not Christmas if the snow don't fall
And I'm still standin' here three feet small
Lose our troubles because after all
It's Christmastime
And I've been waitin' for you to come
It's hard cause I feel so alone
And I just want you to come home
Waitin' for you to come
It's hard cause I feel so alone
And I just want you to come home
It's not Christmas if the snow don't fall
And I'm still standin' here three feet small
Lose our troubles because after all
It's Christmastime
It's not Christmas if the snow don't fall
You're not here to keep me safe and warm
Lose our troubles because after all
It's Christmastime
It's Christmastime again
And all your friends,
All your friends are smilin'
It's Christmastime

Note from SUPERMAN5775:
Being, that I lived all my life where it snows.
I've often said, It's not Christmas without snow.
Those few times when there was no snow for Christmas, had completely ruined the whole day.
Not to mention, having to explain to the kids, when they asked, "How did Santa still get here"?
Well, by using his other sleigh with wheels, of course.
I know, those living in the hot climates are laughing at us needing snow for Christmas.
But, for those of us in snow country, that's what makes it or breaks it.
Of course, the real reason for the season is never lost on me.
And I know it didn't snow in Bethlehem.

As I've said on a prior page, I took the liberty to write the lyrics the way they are bein' sung.
I know it's not proper English, but sometimes, street talk sounds better.
Hey, at least she's not rappin' every bad word known to man!
As I said before Colbie, "Keep doin' what you're doin' girl. You rock."
